Looking now at EPL Week 29 predictions. Arsenal will be smarting from the recent slip up in their title tilt, but will have to wait to resume due to their match against Swansea being postponed. That 1-0 loss to Stoke was the only real surprise in week 28 in the most intriguing Premier League season yet.
There are further fixtures postponed this week. Liverpool don’t play in this round until Wednesday March 26th when they play host to Carling Cup runners-up Sunderland at Anfield. Even this far out it looks like a banker for the Reds who are in pole position for a Champions’ League spot. For those teams in action, at the top it’s Chelsea hosting Tottenham Hotspur who won ugly at home last week. Spurs have not won at Stamford Bridge since Gary Lineker’s winner there in 1990. Surely anything but three points for the White Hart Lane outfit means no Champions League next season. The Blues will no doubt look to twist the knife here against low-scoring Spurs.
Manchester United need something from their visit to the Hawthorns as troubled West Brom are not looking too clever right now. And the Red Devils could do with a confidence boost themselves.

Elsewhere Norwich take on Stoke in a tale of two cities that could well be a defensive struggle at Carrow Road – neither team can afford another defeat. In battle of the possibly two of the weakest teams, Cardiff City will need to pull their socks up to get some goals against fellow cellar dwellers Fulham. The Red, er, Bluebirds have not scored in their last 4 EPL games.
Crystal Palace will do well to keep visiting Southampton at bay but we feel this will be close despite the league positions of these two clubs. The other Wednesday night match is West Ham taking on Hull City. Both of these sides have had a good number of wins lately and the Irons should edge it – just.
