The BetVictor iPad app has had several makeovers since its inception and the new layout design has made it rank highly in our review of the best iPad betting apps. You may have heard of Victor Chandler in the past, as it is a long established old school bookie – and perhaps in a sign that it has moved with the times and completely transformed into a modern modus operandi, the company completely rebranded to BetVictor.

If you prefer the installed app which will take up room on your iPad and can only be viewed in landscape mode, visit the App Store and proceed to download the BetVictor iPad App. After pressing Install and entering your Apple ID password, the BetVictor iPad app will begin to install on your iPad (all models).
Log in and explore the Betvictor iPad App
Log in to the BetVictor iPad app by going to the Log In area on the top right hand corner of the app and providing your user name and password that was set up earlier. When you are logged in the multitude of options will be clearly presented to you. There are three main menus that can be used at the top: Sport, In-Play and Casino. In addition you can choose the A-Z of sports and start betting on football, horse racing, basketball, ice hockey, Australian Rules football, American football, golf, tennis and loads of additional sports markets.
The BetVictor iPad app also features a casino area, with the main games being roulette and blackjack. To get into this area, tap the Casino button and see the selection of novelty games along with the old favourites listed above along with baccarat & slots.
Getting back to sports betting, the iPad has a decent sized screen to tap on the menu buttons which allow you to expand into the particular sport and bet slip selections that you are interested in. Once you’ve selected your bet, you have to enter the stake amount that you want to bet in the box. Then tap the ‘Place Bets’ button and if relevant you can also select E/W (each way) before this.
More about the BetVictor iPad app creators
As touched on earlier BetVictor used to be known as Victor Chandler and they previously had a mobile site called VCbet. Then with the age of mobile betting they re-branded as BetVictor and one of the results is the BetVictor iPad app. It comes from a good heritage, with the firm being founded just after the end of World War II and now continuing to grow strongly from its international headquarters in Gibraltar. BetVictor’s in-house team of iOS developers have done a sterling job in creating the BetVictor iPad app.
The standout features that we like are the alphabetical list of sports that covers all of the major and some less major events. You can get odds for all kinds of football, horse racing, basketball, boxing, baseball and more. Another nice thing that works really well on an iPad is the live horse racing streams.
When using the BetVictor iPad App on to your iPad, you’re sure to have one of the best betting apps that there is. Compatibility is absolutely fine for all models of iPad that we tested including the junior screen sized iPad mini. It also works well on the iPhone although you need to tap carefully as everything is that little bit smaller – which is OK if you have slender fingers! 😉
